I had a phenomenal experience with JAADES. I had been eyeing this piece for about two years now and was finally able to purchase the print. I selected a framed canvas and it looks fantastic. When I first received it, there was slight damage on the frame (due to the delivery service as the box was clearly labeled Fragile, but had external damage as well). When I emailed JAADES about this, they responded quickly and personally. It made the whole experience even better as I knew I bought a beautiful piece from someone that cared.

Jill (Photographer): Swans, almost always with other swans, always stop me in my tracks. I love watching them, photographing them and being in their larger than life presence. They exude elegance but they are also fierce. They are enormous but take flight like they weigh nothing. The paradox and mystery of the swan makes it one of my favourite birds.
Jade (Artist): I knew once seeing Jill’s photo that I wanted to make the heart of this painting the elegance of a swan and “golden hour” state. It took me many failed attempts to find that perfect colour of rose, without making the swan look pink, and still keeping the blues in the water and shadowed feathers. I played around with lights and shadows, allowing the canvas to breathe with an airy atmosphere. What truly resonated with me was the opportunity to use new mediums and explore new techniques and mediums, such as the metallic paint, making this painting completely unique and something I feel I have grown from as an artist .

Hi, my name is Jade Buckley. I'm the founder & artist behind Jaades Co.
I've always been passionate about creativity. From a young age, I found comfort in the endless opportunities discovered with a paint brush in hand.
Since then, my passion has only grown. Art never left my side. I made the decision to pursue a business degree over a fine art degree. I hung-up my paint brushes, with the self-promise to one-day return to painting. I now use my education to create a business from my passion.
More than anything, I want to create work that speaks to people.
